FETCHbranding:
"A local business gets a thrill out of giving back"
This month’s “Thrillanthropist” is not an individual, but a group of branding specialists at FETCHbranding in Dania Beach. “We Care, We Give” is the team’s newest initiative to give back. At FETCHbranding a portion of every service and order total is donated to a charity of the client’s choice.
“We believe that with our success, comes a responsibility to the community. It’s our mission to be a responsible corporate citizen,” said Luis Rimoli, president, “‘We Care, We Give’ was an idea born of several brainstorming sessions with our team and local focus groups”.
Through one of their newest partnerships with Mardi Gras Casino, FETCHbranding donated $3,000 to Hallandale Elementary School. FETCHbranding has also contributed to The American Lung Association, Puzzle Peace, Rebuilding Together and most recently, Dania Beach Reads.
Dania Beach Reads is a project to promote literacy at the elementary school level. Supported by local businesses, Dania Beach Lions Club, Broward County Sheriff’s Office and Scholastic Inc., Dania Beach Reads is raising money to create reading rooms in two local elementary schools. Last week, Rimoli announced that FETCHbranding will donate the remaining funds needed to reach the first goal of $10,000.
In addition to monetary donations, FETCHbranding also gives back with volunteer services. “Voluntary contributions strengthen our company and the relationship we have with the community,” said Rimoli.
“We’re trying to create cross-pollination between businesses and the communities they serve. Non-for-profit organizations can come to us for all their marketing and promotional product needs and 10% of the money that would have been spent somewhere else is re-directed back to the very cause the company is promoting,” said Claudia Rimoli, branding specialist. “”We Care, We Give’ is beneficial for us all and it’s really bringing the community together.”
